Finally have an update for that model I was working on. There are a lot of not so obvious but crucial changes to what was already done. It's been a real learning experience in terms of various structural mysteries of facial structure, and approaches to laying out the geometry. The "hair" you see in two of the images is stand in until I purchase a student license for XSI advanced, and put something more real looking on it. In addition to what you see here I've got a good start on a shirt for him and I've got more done on the eyes. I've also tried out the unfold uv command in Wings 3D on this guy. It works pretty well.
The purpose of this blog is simply to provide a way of showing some of my recent artwork; the works-in-progress and other such things that may not make it into my actual portfolio.
