Tough to say how long it took. I've worked on it a bit here and a bit there over a long while. The head has been completed for a while now, if you look further back in the posts you'll get a better look at it, but I started working on the body about mid december. However long it's taken has been longer than normal since I've treated it as a subject for experimentation. The Pelvic region for example, as it stands now is a complete retopologization after having completed it in a different fashion. The original was totally adequate for most peoples needs I think, more of a straight-forward grid approach, particularly if you assume the use of Zbrush or mudbox for refinement, but I felt there was a better way it could be done. The method I have now is trickier to figure out at first but I think it's ultimately a better solution.
The purpose of this blog is simply to provide a way of showing some of my recent artwork; the works-in-progress and other such things that may not make it into my actual portfolio.
